our story

ABOUT THE SERIES

Sharing the lives of real pioneers of faith with the next generation.

how it started

A search that came up empty

It started with a simple search. I was looking for books to share the stories of our Adventist pioneers with my own young children — and I couldn't find much of anything written for little ones. So many big stories of faith, and so few small books to tell them.

Rather than keep looking, I started writing. The Adventist Pioneer Series began as bedtime stories for my own family, and grew into something I hope other parents can share with theirs.

Why these books exist

The Adventist Pioneer Series was created to help children discover the real men and women whose faith and courage helped share the good news of Jesus. These aren't made-up heroes — they're true stories, told simply and warmly, so a child can understand them and a family can enjoy them together.

Every book pairs gentle, hand-painted illustration with honest storytelling. Our hope is that each one plants a seed of faith, courage, and hope in a young heart.
